Our Mission

Our Mission and the mission of the United Methodist Church is to “Make Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the world.”

We live that out by leading people to an active faith in Jesus where we describe an active faith as loving God, loving others, serving the world, and in so doing, changing lives in Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

As United Methodists, we believe in the historic teachings of the Christian Church. We also follow the Wesleyan distinctive beliefs in a grace that is available to all, that is free, that prompts us, converts us, and changes us. Like every generation of followers of Christ, we also believe God is calling us to discover ways of making these ancient teachings intelligible and accessible to our contemporary context.

We practice baptism of both infants and adults, accept baptisms from other traditions (we do not re-baptize), and welcome all people to the communion table.

The best way to find out what we believe is simply to come join us as we try to live life together as followers of Christ. Please come and be a part of the faith journey.
