How We Serve

We define our active faith in Jesus as loving God, loving others, and serving the world.
Service finds meaning in loving others both within and beyond our walls, in our community and to the world.

Locally, you will find Prairie Chapel at Serve, Inc., at food pantries, at Salvation Army Harbor House, in Prison Ministries, serving  children at neighborhood lunch programs, and leading Spirit Riders.

In the world, the United Methodist Committee on Relief (umcor.org) allows us to channel funds world-wide with 100 percent of our donations going directly to those in need.

The Missouri Conference UMC provides opportunities to serve in missions, disaster relief, Festival of Sharing and a variety of other services (umocm.com).  In 2016 we raised over $2000 for Safe Water for Haiti, and we assembled and delivered 10 flood buckets to assists victims of the Summer floods.
